Terms and conditions for the volunteer application

You are not allowed to volunteer with PetEmber if you or any person in your household have currently or previously submitted  a request to adopt an animal from PetEmber. Volunteers must not have any intent to receive any service from the rescue in exchange with the time they are volunteering at PetEmber. 

To be a volunteer at PetEmber, you must be living in the SoCal area. No out of state volunteers are allowed. 

Each volunteer will be selected based on his/her residency around the location where he/she will be volunteering at. 

PetEmber will only reply the prospective volunteer selected. 

PetEmber is a non-profit animal rescue organization. Volunteers at PetEmber will be provided with all the equipment/means to facilitate their mission at PetEmber. However, Volunteers at PetEmber do not receive any compensation in exchange with their time spent at PetEmber. 

This volunteer form is free to submit. No application fees or processing fees are assessed. 

The personal information you are filling out in this form will be used by PetEmber to appropriately process your volunteer application. We will not, under any circumstances, share your personal information with other individuals, organizations, or third parties without your permission. We will not under any circumstance sell, communicate or divulge your information to any mailing lists. 

To volunteer at PetEmber, you should not be enrolled in a full-time job. A volunteer must have sufficient time to devote in order to volunteer. Volunteers musts stick to the schedule of the rescue. 

You must be 18 years and older in order to volunteer at PetEmber on your own. If you are under 18, you must obtain a written consent from your parents and they must attend the volunteer interview. 

Submitting this volunteer form does not guarantee you any position at PetEmber. This is not a volunteer contract. 

By submitting your volunteer application, you are giving a consent to PetEmber Inc. to contact the references you provided in your volunteer application for verification purposes.
