Adoption events are held every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM at the PetSmart of Fullerton, CA unless otherwise is specified on this page prior to the event.
The COVID-19 guidelines of PetSmart for adoption partners limit the number of animals present at an event to 10 animals at maximum. These guidelines also limit the number of volunteers to one per 2-leashed dogs and one per all non-leashed dogs. Thus, only two volunteers will be present at the event until these guidelines are lifted.
Due to the high volume of people interested in adopting, There will be only a limited number of animals present at our adoption events complying with the store rules.
There will be a limited number of puppies present at our adoption events. The majority of the puppies will only be shown at our corporate office in San Bernardino based on approved adoption applications and appointments (No walk-ins). Our office is used for administrative purposes and after being limited to show our dogs at the PetSmart events due to COVID-19 guidelines, PetEmber started conducting meets and greets at our corporate office for approved applicants.
COVID-19 Guidlines for adopters attending the events:
-It is mandatory to wear your mask.
-Please do not show up to the event if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.
- Sanitize your hand before touching any rescue hosted at the event.
- Stay at least 6 feet apart from our volunteers.
- All paperwork is completed online via our website. Be sure to bring your device if you would like to complete the paperwork for adoption.
